Monday Night Yoga ($10)

You will be guided through yoga postures with both gentle and stronger options, guided relaxation, and breathwork. We will end each class with a deeply relaxing mini gong bath.

Sound Bath ($25)

You will be bathed in the beautiful sounds of crystal singing bowls, traditional Chinese chau gong, and peaceful ocean drum.

Tension & Trauma Releasing Exercise (TRE):

When we experience everyday stress, or larger traumatic events, we are left with physiological changes in the body. This leads to physical and emotional discomfort and pain.

​

Tension & Trauma Releasing Exercise (TRE) is an innovative practice which involves a sequence of gentle exercises to assist the body in releasing deep muscular patterns of stress, tension, and trauma. TRE safely activates a shaking or vibrating mechanism in the muscles (neurogenic tremors), releasing muscular tension and calming the nervous system to allow the body to return back to a state of balance.

People who practice regularly are reporting increased emotional wellbeing, peacefulness, relaxation in body and mind, less worry and anxiety, more resilience to stress, better emotional regulation, help with sleep, more energy and endurance, better digestion, improved immune functioning, relief from sciatica pain, reduced muscle and back pain, and healing of old injuries.

TRE works with the body's primary response to stress and trauma, helping to minimize psychological defenses. This can prepare an individual to be more receptive to talk therapy and more successful in their recovery process.

These wellness classes are specialized for decreasing burnout, stress & anxiety, as well as specialty ergonomic corrective exercise.

We can provide yoga mats if needed.

Class Descriptions:
 

Gentle Yoga
We will move through gentle sequences, yoga postures, breathwork, and guided relaxation.  This class will help open up the body, correct posture, ease everyday work stress, and mitigate body aches and pains.  No prior yoga experience is necessary.  

 

Chair Yoga

Chair yoga is a seated yoga practice accessible to all.  We will move through yoga postures, breathwork, and guided relaxation all seated in a chair.  This practice is great for employees who spend long hours at a computer desk.  No mat or exercise attire necessary.

Sound Bath
You will be immersed in the healing sound vibrations of traditional Chinese chau gong, crystal singing bowls, and ocean drum.  This class helps to achieve feelings of mental calm, physical relaxation, loosening of muscle tension, pain relief, and better mood.  


Restorative Yoga
Restorative yoga is a restful practice involving passive, reclined postures supported by pillows, blankets, bolsters, and blocks.  This no movement, no effort yoga opens up the body and helps to heal the effects of chronic stress while you relax and sink into each pose.  It is intended to have a rejuvenating and healing effect, leaving the body completely renewed, while calming the nervous system. 

 

Meditation
Sit back and unwind as you are guided through mental imagery to induce a state of profound relaxation. This class helps to calm and quiet the mind, to achieve a mentally clear and emotionally stable state.
